Cord made around 1730 in Brescia, Italy, probably intended for ceremonial or ceremonial purposes. The blade is marked on both sides with the name "Antonio Ruiz", which refers to a well-known blade maker active at this time. The guard is simple with a cup-shaped hand guard, typical of 18th century cords, complete with side guard bars. The handle is spirally wound with wire and finished with a typical pear-shaped head.
