An elegant cord from the Rococo period, made around 1780. The weapon shows richly decorated elements typical of this era, supplemented by later modifications.The blade is straight, ground on both sides, tapering to the tip, adapted mainly for stabbing combat. The surface of the blade shows signs of age and use.
The hilt is fitted with an ornately engraved guard, which includes a simple trigger guard and a typical bowl-shaped hand guard, partially covered with gilding. The handle is braided with wire, which ensures a firm grip, and finished with a metal head in the shape of stylized ribbing.
