DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The painting depicts a landscape with rural buildings. The artist has aptly captured the atmosphere of early spring by depicting a muddy road with puddles, in which the buildings and the already slightly green trees are reflected. The subdued landscape has been enlivened by the introduction of an element of staffage in the form of a woman standing in front of the door of one of the houses, wearing a reddish shawl on her head, which, together with the orange and white fabrics hanging on the fence visible on the left side of the composition, is the color accent of the painting. The color gamut is narrow with dominant shades of cold browns and greens.
