Excellent equestrian portrait of an aristocrat or industrialist, probably made to order. Brilliantly painted in the difficult technique of watercolor. The proficiency of the formation of the composition, proportions and details indicates the hand of a master. Created in part using photographic technique (fragments of figures), probably in the 4th quarter of the 19th century.
