Adam Międzybłocki (1883 or 1890-1956) was a painter and graphic artist who worked in Vilnius and was active in the city's artistic life between the wars. He was a realist artist who painted mainly landscapes, cityscapes, domestic scenes and portraits. He is particularly known for his watercolours and drawings of Vilnius Old Town, in which he recorded the architecture and everyday life of the city. Mendziblocki's work is characterised by a calm colour palette, precise outlines and a documentary approach to the environment. His works are preserved in the collections of the Vilnius Museums and are valued as part of the iconography of Vilnius in the first half of the 20th century.
