“The works presented here are part of a larger whole—for the first time, drawings and paintings without literary references, to which the artist has given the collective title ‘Trace of Touch.’ Touch is understood here in a very broad sense; there is the touch of time, the touch of memory, the touch of a gaze. A memory, a word, a sound, or even a shadow can be a touch. Space can also be built through touch. For all these types of touch, the artist has found a common element that binds them together like a clasp. It is the female body, which appears in every painting, in various configurations and arrangements.” — Joanna Kiwilszo.
