Krystyna Cybińska born in Dakowy Suchy (1931). Studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wroclaw (1949-1954) under Prof. Stanisław Dawski and Prof. Julia Kotarbińska (diploma 1954). Teaching fellow at the mother university (1954-2003). Assistant to Prof. Julia Kotarbinska (from 1954). Assistant professor in the Department of Ceramics (since 1964). Associate Dean of the Department of Ceramics and Glass (1981-1983). Head of the Department of Ceramics at the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass (four times between 1983 and 1990). Since 1993, full professor at the Academy of Fine Arts. Member of ZPAP (since 1954) and Académie Internationale de la Céramique d'Art (AIC) in Geneva (since 1977). He practices artistic ceramics. She lives and works in Wroclaw.

Krystyna Cybińska, permanently affiliated with the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts, has had a significant impact through her creative and pedagogical work on the development and character of artistic ceramics in Poland. She educated numerous adepts of ceramics. Among her graduates and alumni are the current lecturers of the Ceramics Department of the Wrocław Academy: Adam Abel, Mirosław Kociński, Katarzyna Koczyńska-Kielan, Przemysław Lasak, Krzysztof Rozpondek, Bożena Sacharczuk.
