Biography
Adam Setkowicz studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1891-1894. It is known that in 1933 he took part in an exhibition in Piotrkow Trybunalski. He painted mostly in watercolors, although many of his oil works are known. The artist's favorite subjects were genre scenes of Polish provincial life, hunting expeditions, country estates, sleigh rides and horse-drawn carriages.
