On the rocks in the Prądnik valley Kazi- mierz W. erected a castle, and the vda. of Sandomierz Stanislaw Szafraniec 1582 rebuilt this fortress. The castle burned in 1850, and in 1863, during a battle. Renovated by Stanislaw Mieroszewski, it is now inhabited.
