Jan Wojciech MALIK (1951)
studied painting at the University of Arts /formerly PWSSP/ in Poznań in 1969-75 in the studios of Prof. Tadeusz Brzozowski and Stanisław Teisseyre. Member of the Association of Polish Artists since 1977. Member of the Ekoart movement since 1978. Paintings in the collections of the National Museum in Poznan and Szczecin and many private collections and in the collections of the Vatican. Creates in Poznań. Multiple scholarship recipient of the Minister of Culture. Art appraiser. Study stays in Russia and the USA. Writes poems. Received several awards for poetry. In 2018 he presented a painting at the VIII Art Biennale "Continuation 85" at the Zamek Cultural Center in Poznań. In 2017/18, he had a solo painting exhibition at the Profil Gallery of Contemporary Art in Poznan at CK Zamek. He participated in the 6th Quadro Art International Biennale of Painting in Lodz, Poland. He is showing paintings at the exhibition "100 paintings for 100 years" at Omega Gallery in Torun.
