Ewelina Straszewicz, And I won't leave you..., 2019

Ewelina Straszewicz, lives in Dawidy Bankowy. She graduated from the High School (artistic profile class) in Olkusz, and from the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Polish Studies. She attends art classes for adults at the Raszyn Cultural Center and the Arts Warehouse (OKO branch).

She has been drawing and painting since childhood. An earlier hobby has turned into a real passion with time. The first exhibitions of her works were organized in Olkusz, then Warsaw. In 2016, her paintings were exhibited at the International Festival "Art Naive" in Katowice, dedicated to non-professional artists from around the world. In 2017, she held her own exhibition in Raszyn titled. "On dreaming and on waking." An exhibition of her works in Warsaw is currently underway.

For the past two years, she has participated in the "Szlakiem Zaczytanych Ławek" project as an author, and currently a bench of hers can be seen in front of the Palace of Culture and Youth in Warsaw.
