Kaja Strzemiecka (b. 2000 in Radom) - architect, illustrator and member of the art collective 8i. She creates posters and prints in mixed techniques, willing to experiment with material, texture and form. In her works she combines the sensitivity of an architect with an intuitive approach to composition and color. Trained as an architect - she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool, and is currently completing her master's degree at the Faculty of Architecture, Warsaw University of Technology, where she is also exploring the subject of conservation of architectural monuments. She is a co-founder of the 8i collective, which carries out original poster exhibitions in public spaces, including at Warsaw's Cosmo Espresso Bar. The 8i group tackles themes of values and identity, translating them into the language of color and symbol. In the past, she co-organized Open Call exhibitions for WAPW students, the vernissages of which were held at the Yazd Open Studio. She is also a member of the WAPW Academic Association, where she serves on the board. She is currently working with the collective on another exhibition scheduled for December 2025.
