Born in 1980. Anna Poniatowska is a self-taught artist whose studio is located in Jaslo, Subcarpathia. After a hiatus of almost 20 years, she returned to creative activity in 2019. At that time, on the initiative and with the encouragement of a friend, she began to present her works in the online space under the artistic pseudonym Pracownia Intuicyjna.
Since her return to art, she has consistently developed her painting and drawing skills through online courses and intensive independent practice. In her creative pursuits, she has reached for a variety of techniques, such as watercolor, acrylic, cyanotype, crayon and dry pastels. In 2024, her particular fascination was with traditional Japanese nihonga painting, which became her main area of artistic exploration and means of expression.
Anna Poniatowska's work focuses on the subtle, contemplative dimension of beauty - quiet, delicate and attentive. Her paintings invite the viewer to stop and reflect, offering an experience of nature as a source of harmony, solace and inner balance. The artist's main inspiration remains nature in its various manifestations. Plant motifs, flowers and landscapes are shown with an emphasis on their rhythm, ephemerality and emotional quality that goes beyond mere visual form.
