A MUNICIPAL CLASS set of Polish Freemasonry memorabilia of the Lodge of the Rising Sun of Lomza from 1816.
A real treat for collectors of freemasonry memorabilia.
The set, which includes:
1. Order of the Rising Sun, Polish. Complete in very good condition. Gilded, metal enamel. Currently there is a loose each piece of the order even with the original paper dividers. Probably someone once wanted to check if it is made of gold. It is easy to put it back together, all elements fit well together. Dimensions: diameter 55 mm.
2. fragment of blue sash for the order with visible damage, dimensions: width 35 mm, length of all fragments : 75 cm.
3. Songbook "Songs from Various Authors Collected by the Symbolic Lodge of the Rising Sun", Lomza 1816. Polish language, pp. 88, soft covers, good condition, dimensions : 15.5 x 10 cm.
4. Embroidered linen bag with owner's monogram probably for songbook. Dimensions: 19 x 10.5 cm.
Undoubtedly a unique set.
Provenance: the present owner purchased the set many years ago in Cracow on the antiquarian market.
The Lodge of the Rising Sun in Lomza was founded in 1811 and was subordinate to the Lodge of Plock.
