The coin features well-preserved details and was struck with worn dies.
Obverse: the coat of arms of Gdańsk in a cartouche supported by two lions, within a corded border; above the cartouche, the date abbreviation •2•3/4•; within the border, a legend beginning with a rosette:
•MONETA•CIVIT•GEDANENSIS•;
Reverse: a bust of Sigismund III Vasa wearing a crown, facing right, with the Order of the Golden Fleece on a chain of 7 flints, wearing armor and a cloak fastened with a jewel, within a corded border; on either side of the bust, the denomination I-6; the legend in the border reads:
