Polish painter, lover of the Tatra Mountains, born in Haiti, where her father was an engineer. In her teens she moved to Europe. She passed her high school diploma in Lausanne and then began studying at the School of Fine Arts in Hamburg. She traveled extensively in Europe and was also in the United States. At the end of World War I, she came to Warsaw and soon discovered Zakopane, the most important place in her life, with which she was connected to the end. She divided her time between watercolor painting, in which she focused on Tatra themes, and sports and rescue activities. She was also involved in glass painting, wall painting, batik, interior design and painting conservation. She is the author of diagrams of 11 ski roads in the Tatra Mountains described by Jozef Oppenheim in his book "Ski Trails of the Polish Tatra Mountains." She is buried in the Cemetery of Merit on Pęksowy Brzyzku in Zakopane.Tippenhauer(1899Haiti-1962 Zakopane),
