"Not relenting in creative pursuits, not being satisfied with the already achieved results of artistic endeavors speaks volumes about Zoltowski's temperament. But the most obvious testimony to his uncommon temperament, the momentum of the artist, are first of all his canvases, the dynamics of the compositional arrangements of many of them. Tracing the paths of development of his art from his early affinities with the tenets of Post-Impressionism, Zoltowski constantly sought such means of expression that would enhance the expressiveness of his works."
