Olga Petrova (b.1942) is an artist, art historian, Philosophy PHD and a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1986. She is also a professor at the UKMA University and IPMA. As a painter, her work operates in the cross-sections of expressionism, metaphorism and nonfigurativism. Her paintings are held in the collections of the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture and the Union of Artists of Ukraine, in the Chernivtsy, Chernigiv, and Khmelnytsky art museums, National Museum in Lviv, National Art Museum in Kyiv, Georgian Museum of Arts, Sitracut gallery in Calcutta, The Yad-Va-Shem Museum in Israel, Library of the British Museum (London), Musa Culture centre (Osaka) and in different galleries and private collections in Kyiv, Moscow, Paris, London, Nottingham, Amsterdam, Calcutta, Toronto, Budapest, Osaka and Tokyo.

Nara. Dance of fire - there is a famous monastery in the city of Nara. Every autumn, on a certain day, grass is lit on the hills around the monastery. On this day, a ritual dance is performed near the temple.

Nara. Taniec ognia – w mieście Nara znajduje się słynny klasztor. Każdej jesieni, pewnego dnia, na wzgórzach wokół klasztoru zapala się trawa. Tego dnia w pobliżu świątyni odbywa się rytualny taniec
