Karolina Kostrzewska (born 1985)
Artist, philosopher and art experimenter.
She began her creative path by designing jewelry, working at the intersection of matter, form and meaning. Combining seemingly incompatible materials, experimenting with texture, color and structure, and pushing the boundaries of composition without losing internal consistency became the foundation of her early works. Over time, painting became another ever-deepening field of expression, allowing for the exploration of various techniques and subjects. Postgraduate studies in art history and painting introduced a conscious understanding of painting matter as a field of dialogue between tradition and personal experience. She currently works mainly in acrylic and oil techniques, often with elements of collage. She treats the creative process as an intimate and personal sphere, which she talks about reluctantly, although at the same time she accompanies others in discovering their own expression in art therapy classes.
