Jerzy Rymar,painting inspired by Pablo Picasso

Jerzy "Jurgen" Rymar -, studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, graduated with
Diploma with honors in 1986 under Prof. Kazimierz Ostrowski. Scholarship of the Minister
Culture in 1987. The artist is considered a representative of Polish realism
social realism of the 1980s. Spiritually connected to the counterculture of the late 70s and early 80s, he
80s, he created a visual record of punk rebellion. .
Jerzy Rymar is co-founder of the "Inter-Art" Group, which operates under the auspices of the
Pomeranian House of Hope foundation. The group supports artists struggling with
the problem of addiction, lost in life and having problems returning to
society. Over the past 10 years, the Group has organized exhibitions and
concerts by more than 20 artists from Poland, Germany and the US.
The artist is one of the forerunners of Polish artistic tattooing.

1991 together with Piotr Żurawski sets up the first tattoo studio in Poland

In 2006 he created a collection of 27 portraits of the Holy Father John Paul II "In search of hope".
In Search of Hope." The second edition of this exhibition was opened by the President of Poland. Both
editions were viewed by more than a million people.
