Biography
Studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Gdansk at the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture, majoring in painting in 1981-1985. Diploma in painting in 1985 in the studio of Prof. K.Śramkiewicz. Appendix to the diploma in graphics, color linocut in the studio of Prof. Cz.Tumielewicz. Since September 1985 employee of the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Gdansk, now the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2006 received the title of professor of fine arts in the artistic discipline - fine arts. From 1994 to 2007 Head of the Drawing and Painting Studio for students of the Faculty of Interior Design and Design. Since 2005 Head of the Department of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture at the Faculty of Interior Design and Design. Since 2007 Head of Linocut Studio in the Department of Workshop Printmaking at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and since 2009 of Linocut and Serigraphy Studio at the aforementioned Faculty. He teaches drawing classes for students of Bachelor's Evening Studies, majoring in Graphic Design and Interior Design. From 1999 to 2002 taught painting and drawing at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw at the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts. Since 2008, Dean of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in the term of 2008/2012. Author of 73 individual exhibitions, participant of 325 collective exhibitions at home and abroad. Multiple scholarship recipient of the Ministry of Culture and Art. Recipient of 23 awards and honors of national and international rank.
