In 1939 he graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under F.S. Kowarski. And L. Pękalski. He was a member of the Warsaw group. Painter, printmaker and draughtsman not affiliated with any group or artistic orientation. He created monothematic series, such as. Seabed, War Against Man, Imaginary Portraits, series Reminiscences, Epitaphs, Family. He painted paintings with synthesized forms and figures, with rich backgrounds and relief textures, he was also involved in mural painting and stained glass (design of a stained glass window for the Mausoleum of Struggle and Martyrdom in Szucha Avenue in Warsaw).
