Evert Moll (1878-1955) Dutch painter, marine artist, who lived and worked in Vooburg, Rotterdam, London, Paris and The Hague. His works are in museum collections in the Netherlands and private collections. His interest in the sea, ports and the ships calling at them made him an unparalleled portraitist of these places. He also painted landscapes , but these are inferior in quantity and quality of execution to marine subjects. He mainly practiced oil easel painting, but did not shy away from watercolors.
