Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the studio of Prof. Mieczyslaw Kotarbinski in 1935-39. He received his diploma in 1947. He was not affiliated with any art group and rarely participated in group exhibitions. In 1980 there was a large individual exhibition of his paintings at the Zachęta National Art Gallery. Most recently, Andrzej Mierzejewski's works were presented in 2004 at the National Museum in Warsaw, in a joint exhibition by Jacek, Andrzej and Jerzy Mierzejewski.
