Stanislaw Mazuś - born in 1940 in Lublin. Studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1961 to 1967, graduating with a diploma in the studio of Prof. Eugeniusz Eibisch. Twice a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art.
Since 1967, he has participated in international, national and district competitions, plein-air, exhibitions. He has organized more than 300 individual exhibitions in the country, including.: in Lublin, Nowy Targ, Miechow, Suwalki, Nadrzecze, Janow Lubelski, Galeria Kukuczka-Istebna-Jasnowice, Mikolow, Siedlce, Krakow, Radom, Zamosc, Rzeszow, Szczecin, Kolobrzeg, Zielona Gora, Poznan, Tychy, Katowice, Bytom, Warsaw, Sopot, Bielsko-Biala, Bialystok, Gorzow Wielkopolski, Wroclaw, Biala Podlaska, Lodz, as well as abroad: Sofia, Prague, Stockholm, Vienna, Komarno, Aix-les-Bains, Milan, New York, Washington and Bratislava.
He has participated in presentations of Polish art abroad, including in Miskolc, Madrid, Moscow, New York, Ostrava, Budapest, Sofia, Zagorie, Karlovy Vary, Paris, Bayreuth, Ulan Bator, Barcelona, Bratislava, Prague, Athens, Berlin, Beuningen.
Works are in the collections of state institutions, museums, private collections at home and abroad, including the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
He is the recipient of many significant awards and prizes.
In 2014, he was awarded the Silver Medal "Meritorious for Culture Gloria Artis."
