Krzysztof Ludwin (born 1962). Graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology and the Academy of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Industrial Forms. From 1995 to 2022 he was a research and teaching employee at PK in the Department of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture. In 2006, he received his doctorate, defending his thesis entitled Architectural Sketches in Watercolor Techniques. History and contemporaneity. From 2018-2022, he taught in the Department of Drawing Painting and Sculpture as a Professor at the University. In 2002, he published the album Krakow in watercolors in the series World in Watercolors. PWN published his textbook Learning to Paint with Watercolors. He received the Rector's Award for this publication. He does easel painting, mainly in watercolor. Painting on canvas, acrylic and oil paints. He has developed his own style, which he calls "nervous expressionism." His paintings almost never lack architectural elements. He is a co-founder of the Association of Polish Watercolorists. He is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers and the Association of Polish Architects.
