Professor of fine arts. Graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1974. He led the ateliers of Textile and Visual Structures, now Visual Arts at the Faculty of Visual Culture Management. He cultivates geometric abstraction. Professor of Visual Arts since January 2014. Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, graduated with honors in 1974, in the studios of Professors Tadeusz Dominik and Zbigniew Gostomski. The year 2015, is Dzienkiewicz's 40th year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He has been practicing geometric abstraction since 1973. He worked at the Faculty of Painting from 1975?89 as an assistant, from 1989?2003 as head of the Studio of Classical Weaving Techniques. In 2004?2014 he led the Visual Structures Studio at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and since March 2014 he has led the Visual Arts Studio at the Faculty of Visual Culture Management. Marek Dzienkiewicz is the author of more than 20 solo exhibitions and has participated in more than 60 group exhibitions. His works are in collections, in 12 countries and in Warsaw, among others, in the National Museum and in the collection of Studio Gallery.
