Silver, diameter 3.5 cm; stamped sample: "990". Good condition, mint luster.
A beautiful artistic medal. On the obverse, doves feeding the young and in the rim an inscription in German, translated into Polish: "For outstanding merits", on the reverse a figure plucking an olive branch and a space for inscribing a dedication. Over the past 20 years, the medal has not appeared at auction in this version. Only in the 11th there was a medal in Leipzig with this obverse but on the reverse it had the inscription : "Annaberg 1928" meaning St. Anne's Mountain in Silesia. This medal was acquired in Breslau in the 1980s which means that it is rather made by a Silesian medallic factory most likely from Breslau.
