Hand open, wooden, quadrilateral in cross-section, tapered at the handle part, with a decorative metal finial set on the head. The hilt is steel, double-edged, curved. P o c h w a s wooden, covered with die-cut white sheet on the outside, brass on the inside. Decorated along its entire length with floral and geometric motifs. At the lower part it is strongly curved. On the sides, movable cusps set in massive sleeves. The jambia is an Arab puginal, also used in Turkey, Persia and India.
