Serial number 6151. Octagonal, hexagonal in the middle section, rifled blue barrels of 10 mm calibre, signed 'A.V. LEBEDA IN PRAG' in gold lettering on the upper surfaces, bottom screws decorated with engraved ripples, sliding flies in herringbone, adjustable sights, tongues of bottom screws with engraved floral motifs and percussion locks signed 'A.V. Lebeda', identically decorated taps. French turnbuckles. Smooth rosewood stocks, the grips roughened with fine herringbone and studded with silver spikes, bearing oval silver thumb-plates engraved "G" below the count's crown, identically decorated with steel bows. Prague circa 1855, length of both pistols 40cm. The pistols are in good condition with the original finish preserved and are housed in their original mahogany veneered case (dimensions 45 x 7 x 26 cm), which is divided into continental style compartments and lined with brown velvet, the lid marked 'A V LEBEDA/PRAGUE'. The lids of the compartments with turned bone handles, original accessories (some parts missing). The pistols belonged to Count Vladislav Gozzem (1795-1866) of Dubrovnik. LEBEDA IN PRAG', with scrolls engraved breech-blocks, dove-tailed fore-sights, adjustable notch rear-sights, the scrolls engraved top-tangs, rococo scroll engraved percussion locks signed 'A. V. Lebeda', en-suite hammers, Rosewood smooth half-stocks with checked grips set with silver studs bears oval silver escutcheons engraved with 'G' below a count's crown on both the stock's wrist, en suite engraved trigger guards . Prague circa 1855, legth of each 40 cm. Both pistols in fine order with much finish remaining and in their maker's presentation mahogany veneered case (dimensions 45 x 7 x 26 cm), the case lined and compartmented in the Continental manner in brown baize marked on the lid "A V LEBEDA/PRAGUE" and retaining the complex-shaped lidded compartments with turned bone handles and an original accessories (some missing). The pistols were owned by count Vladislav Gozze (1795 - 1866) in Dubrovnik. Condition 1-
