Hand closed, brass binding. Basket hilt, perforated at the edges. At the head a slot for a sling. Wooden shaft, with eight transverse notches with remnants of original black paint. The cap is long, fixed together with the shaft in a ring at the hilt, with the top riveted on an oval washer with the shaft of the head. The hilt is steel, straight, above the hilt double-edged, in lenticular cross-section, profiled on both sides into one narrow groove in the middle of the amphibian. On the outer sill minted military numerals, on the inner sill manufacturer's punch: "E. SUALLING/ELSKILSTUNA". P o c h w a steel, oxidized black, one riffle, horizontal catch and neck attached to the mantle. Minor dents. Spur asymmetrical, signed: "E. SUALLING/ESKILSTUNA". On both sides, at the neck, military numerators scored.
