German trench knife from the World War I period. A very nice piece: head in factory polish, signed with Prussian military acceptance mark and manufacturer's logo (Hugo Koln Solingen). Scabbard in original black lacquer (in places applied clear lacquer over this black original lacquer). The scabbard choke holds with adequate resistance. A rare variety of the knife. State of preservation shown in the attached photos.
Length: 28cm.
