Jerzy M. Jampolski was a journalist and memoirist who focused on political and administrative issues during World War I. He was among the observers of events related to the functioning of the Austro-Hungarian administration in the territories of the Kingdom of Poland during the occupation of 1914–1918. His memoirs are today a valuable source for research on Austro-Hungarian policy toward the Polish question.
