Wojda (Woyda) (1771-1846) - participant in the events, later president of Warsaw. Estreicher annotated the description of this work with an extensive commentary: "This work is written under the clear influence of the work 'On the Establishment of the Constitution of May 3' (1793) promulgated by Kołłątaj, Dmochowski and the two Potockians, which made such an impression in Poland and abroad [...]. However, it is written in a different method: the author tries to tell the story objectively, avoids passionate accusations, quotes a lot of documents [...]. The author warmly sympathizes with the fate of Poland, but makes some accusations against the revolution: lack of a plan, relegation to chance, too much trust in the help of France, striving to rely on the defense of Warsaw, an undefended city (instead of moving the partisan war to the forests). Also to the politicians of the 4-year Sejm he makes some accusations, for example, about the resolution for 100,000 troops before the funds were devised [...]. In all this he does not agree with Kołłątaj, but follows him in many things."
