Grandson of an exile, born 1901 in Grozny (Chechnya), died 1981 in Cracow. In 1923 he obtained citizenship and entered Poland. After graduating in 1929 from the State School of Arts and Crafts in Cracow, he began permanent cooperation with the R. Jahoda Bookbinding Company in the field of graphic design and artistic book binding. In 1950, he was appointed to the position of associate professor at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He participated in numerous competitions and exhibitions. He designed posters, made a number of woodcut ex-librises, did mural painting but mainly painted watercolors. He was the initiator and president of the Watercolor Club at the Cracow district of ZPAP.
