RR-, Sigismund I the Old, Denarius without date, Elblag, heart-shaped shields

A distinctive Elbing denarius with a shield of arms on a heart plan - with an indentation at the top and a sharp spike at the bottom. In Corpus Nummorum Civitatis Elbingensis, listed only as a piedfort of 3 denarii. A type known to collectors of Elblag coins, but appearing in trade several times less frequently than typical Elblag denarii without the date of Sigismund the Old.
