Typologically important, the last date of ducats minted continuously since 1679 with a rosette between the knight’s legs. On the rare ducats of the mintmaster Hendrik Maurits Eyk from 1732 and 1733, his mintmaker’s symbol of the tree was punched instead of the rosette, and then in 1735 and 1736 the rosette mark was again used. All later ducats are minted without any marks between the knight’s legs.
