Lithuania 50 Litų 2008 European Cultural Heritage. Obverse: Of the coin features examples of Lithuanian cross-crafting and its symbolism. In 2001; cross-crafting was included by UNESCO in the List of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. In the centre of the coin is the Vytis; surrounded by the inscription LIETUVA (Lithuania); year of issue (2008); and denomination (50 litas). Lettering: LIETUVA 2008 50 LITŲ LMK.
