200 gold 1985 John Paul II
A very rare coin.
During the communist period, official collector coins were also minted by the Swiss mint Valcambi. These were coins dedicated to John Paul II covering denominations from 100 to 10,000 zloty. As Janusz Parchimowicz describes them: the National Bank of Poland confirms that they were minted in 1982 and 1985. The former were collector coins, and the 1985 coins were minted in minimal editions as technological trials. They were not realized as collector coins.
