Good condition: nice cover with menorah motif, binding with rubbing on edges, minor soiling, inside minimal soiling, block cracked behind title page, paper slightly yellowed.

A collection of songs on religious themes, in decorative borders. 17 full-page (sometimes two parts of one double-page) illustrations. All maintained in Art Nouveau style.

Maurycy (Moses/Moshe Ephraim) Lilien(Drohobych 1874 - Badenweiler 1925)-Jewish graphic artist, trained as a sign painter in Lviv, studied under Jan Matejko at the Cracow School of Fine Arts in 1889-93.
