The publication contains several thousand biographies of persons of landed gentry origin, who in 1939-1956 were killed in combat, were murdered, disappeared, died in gulags, prisons, concentration camps, in exile, etc., died in freedom either immediately after the repression suffered, or as a result of an event remaining in a close, direct connection with repression, occupation conditions or independence activities.
