Unwarranted rubbing of binding, stain on front pastedown, otherwise good condition. Memoirs of a Quaestor was published in 1844 as the third series of Lithuanian Pictures and is the most popular novel by Chodko. The diary form allowed him to depict private scenes of parochial life, as well as major historical events seen from this limited perspective.
