On an oval base with plastic flowers and foliage, a couple in 18th-century costume: a lady in a crinoline in a pattern of "Indian flowers" and a cavalier standing next to her in a harcap wig, pink pants and tailcoat, girded across his breast by a green sash, embracing gracefully the lady's left hand. The crinoline group is an imitation-reduction of a larger Meissen composition (22 cm high), developed. Circa 1744 by Johann J.
