Sterling silver 0.800
Total weight: 164.3 g (without box)
Dimensions: length of spoon approx. 14 cm; box 18 × 10 × 4 cm
Set of six elegant dessert spoons made in sterling silver 0.800 by the renowned Hefra - Warsaw Silver and Plated Products Factory, continuing the traditions of pre-war goldsmith workshops. The slender, classic form with a subtle balance of proportions represents the modernist minimalism characteristic of the communist period, combined with high quality workmanship typical of Hefra products.
The set is preserved in the original company box of the Przedsiębiorstwo Handlu Detalicznego "Jubiler", which further emphasizes its collector's value.
An excellent example of mid-20th century Polish functional design, combining functional elegance and goldsmithing traditions.

The Warsaw Hefra Plater Factory - a company formed from the merger of the J. Fraget Silver and Plated Goods Factory and the Henneberg Brothers Plated Goods Factory. Both factories were largely destroyed during World War II and nationalized in the post-war era. In 1951 (according to other sources, 1965), the two companies were merged into one state-owned company, Hefra. During the communist era, Hefra's products were highly sought after on the market; during the transition years, the company was privatized and thus declined, competing with the expanding market. In 2002, it merged with Lefana Tableware Factory in Legnica, where all production was transferred. Hefra still aims to produce high-quality plated and silverware, made by hand and using designs dating back to the 19th century.
