Oval case in sterling silver with guilloché enamels in shades of pink, white dial with Arabic numerals and black hour markers, featuring the inscriptions "8 Days - Swiss Made".
Fully hallmarked Birmingham 1931-1932, silversmith Henry Matthews. On the back, the inscription "Olive" and on the brass case "Two 2 Adjustments - Six 6 Jewels - Swiss - Schild C".
Henry Matthews was a renowned British silversmith, active primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His business was based in Birmingham, an important center for silver craftsmanship and other precious metals.
