- A "droit de suite" fee will be added to the auctioned amount. For the auctioned price of up to the equivalent of EUR 50,000, the fee rate is 5%. The fee is determined using the average euro exchange rate announced by the National Bank of Poland on the day preceding the day of the auction.

Biography
He spent his childhood in Lodz, where he came into contact with the art community. He studied at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts (1901-1902), then in Munich (1903-1904) and Paris. In 1905-1915 he stayed in Italy, and later (1916-1920) in Switzerland; in 1952 he became a "Citizen of Lugano." In 1920 he settled permanently in Paris. He was a member of the Union of Polish Painters and Sculptors. During World War II, he stayed in Switzerland. The artist shunned modern art groups, studied old and new masters, and collected works by his favorite artists. His painting is characterized by classical, elaborate composition, economy of means of expression and strong, luminous colors. He painted mainly landscapes, especially of the Mediterranean.
