Biography
Painter and printmaker. Graduate of the Władysław IV High School No. 8 in Warsaw. From 1900 to 1903, he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków under the guidance of Leon Wyczółkowski, Józef Unierzyski, and Józef Mehoffer. He continued his studies in Italy and, from 1907, in France. From 1920, he was a member of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, and from 1929, he belonged to the Société du Salon d’Automne. From 1933, he was a member of the Professional Union of Polish Visual Artists in Kraków, and from 1956, a member of the Union of Polish Artists in France. In 1939, he became honorary president of the Union of Polish Graphic Artists.
