Biography
Graphic artist, doctor of fine arts, art director. Specializes in linocut, which he combines with new technologies to create unique installations and graphic compositions. On a daily basis, he lives and works in Warsaw, where he runs the Pomykała STUDIO graphic art studio He is also affiliated with the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin For his artistic work, he has won dozens of prestigious awards at home and abroad, among which the Grand Prix of the International Triennale of Graphic Arts in Cracow (2018) - one of the most important awards in the world of artistic graphics - was the greatest honor. His linocuts have been awarded in South Korea, Australia, Spain, Serbia, Romania, Canada, among others. He has participated in the most important national and international exhibitions and festivals, such as the Ulsan International Woodcut Festival in South Korea, the Guanlan International Biennale of Graphic Arts in China, the ING Creative Festival in Dubai, the International Triennial of Graphic Arts in Turkey, Austria, Sweden, Serbia and Spain. His works are in museums and private collections in Poland and around the world. He is also associated with the creative industry - for almost a decade he worked as Art Director at Saatchi & Saatchi, creating campaigns for global brands and winning multiple awards in advertising competitions, including KTR and Effie Award.
