Henryk Piątkowski (born August 4, 1853, in Kyiv; died June 3, 1932, in Warsaw) – Polish painter, printmaker, writer, and art critic.Henryk Piątkowski’s body of work includes portraits, landscapes, and paintings with religious and historical themes, as well as genre scenes often featuring classical elements. During his creative period, he exhibited at the Autumn Salons and at exhibitions in Warsaw, St. Petersburg, and Moscow.In addition to painting, the artist was also active as an art critic, publishing reviews in magazines such as *Wędrowiec* and *Tygodnik Ilustrowany*. He also wrote books on the contemporary art of his time and the work of other painters.
