Description:
One of the 12 famous lithographs comprising the intimate "Elles" series by Toulouse-Lautrec - commissioned by the owner of a Parisian brothel. The work depicts a woman plunged into a dream - the reduced, expressive line perfectly captures the artist's intention focused on psychology and gestures. The title "Ta bouche" (Your mouth) is an ironic reference to the bodily and emotional sphere.
Description in pencil at the bottom: "D 21 - Ta bouche - Toulouse-L."
